I’m not sure I would consider myself a GOAT. I do take some pride in having a unique voice though, regardless of where I am in the hierarchy. I’ve come to practice saying “it’s enough, you’re ok”

You and Animenz are what I consider the founding fathers of the anime pianist community and have some of the most unique and quality arrangements to date. I actually started watching anime after hearing an arrangement of yours. I still think your arrangement of Again (from Shigatsu) is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever heard in my life.

In these four years, I managed to graduate from university, move to Japan, learn Japanese, and start working as an auto mechanic. Just yesterday, for the first time in four years, I was talking with my friends about your videos, and today I see this one. I’m sure there’s some kind of magic involved. Thank you, I missed you.

5 years ago, I had the similar idea of doing Youtube instead of focusing on university work. Eventually, I chose university and an academic path and did my best on it. This year, I had the chance to go to LA and meet your transcriber concxrtmaster in person, which was almost impossible for me to think of back then. You are my inspiration and the reason why I keep practicing. No matter what choice we make, we are responsible for it, and strong will takes us to a good place.
Yeah, that basically aligns with my own values, which is to own our choices, see things clearly the cost we pay for our own choices, both good and bad. It’s to take responsibility our own contribution to it.
I don’t associate with that transcriber anymore, but I’m still glad you’ve achieved something you didn’t think was possible before. Sometimes things work out, and sometimes they don’t. We wouldn’t know until we give it a shot right? To me, what matters is making choices consciously and then taking responsibility of what comes after.
Congratulations on being able to upload again man! The community definitely haven’t been the same without your sound, an intimate and captivating sound that’s been missing in the YouTube space in these past few years.
