Last week, on September 9th, President Russell M. Nelson celebrated his 101st birthday. For his wish, he shared something simple yet profound: that we remember our divine worth and recognize that same worth in others. When we truly see one another as children of God, unity grows, hearts heal, and we find deeper happiness together.
He also reminded us that this recognition should lead us to reach across differences with respect and compassion. Even when we disagree, we can choose to see each other as brothers and sisters. In doing so, we help create the kind of world where peace and understanding can flourish
In a world that is so divisive right now, everyone needs the reminder that we all have value. If we remember that about others, we are more likely to be peaceful with each other
“Love your neighbor as yourself” (Lev 19:16) – Rabbi Akiva said: this is a great principle of the Torah.
“These are the generations Adam; on the day God created Adam, He made him in the ‘Image’ of God” (Gen. 1:5) – Ben Azzai said: this is a yet greater principle.
– Jerusalem Talmud, Tractate Nedarim 9:4

If people only walked down the street seeing each other as souls created in the Image of the Divine that just happen to be riding this world in mammalian bodies…
What can we say to ppl that feel Charlie is being spoken of to much, but not enough about Jesus.
I can understand their concerns but how can you help but mention something a lot that touched you so deeply. I can’t even put into words. I just pray thousands of ppl will turn to Jesus through this, that what he worked for so hard will not be in vain.
That ppl that turn to Jesus now because of this will continue to live for him, not give up when this is not so new anymore 🙏

I know you guys mean well, but it’s better when you stick to music
Even if you don’t share their beliefs, it’s really hard to see how anyone could suffer from adopting this point of view.
I think it’s really cool that they have the courage to say what they believe in!

Thank you for sharing this!❤
