Kura Kura (Anya’s Special ver.) – SPY×FAMILY S2 OP [Piano] / Ado

This is my piano arrangement of "", the style of Spy X Household Season 2. Nevertheless, this time I had a special visitor in my piano studio– Anya Forger– and she truly desired me to make a special piano variation just for her. For that reason, I included a symphonic music introduction in 0:01, included a swing ending in 2:46 and lastly ended it with a lullaby version in 3:57.

However before I continue, possibly you want to hear the story from Anya straight …

[…]" Anya has actually just recently found a new preferred anime video, called ! I like Onee-chan voice!!

Mr. Pianist! Can you make the piano sparkle as well? Anya desires a Doki piano !"

0:01
" Anya understands this piece! Hehe, that's because Papa frequently listens to this sort of music. The piece is called Shu-, Cho-, uh … Chomann Piano Concert! It goes DA-DAM, DA-DAM, DA-DAM, DA-DAM!! So quickly and stylish! It sounds like Bondman's Theme!" (She means Schumann Piano Concerto in A small btw).

1:36.
" Anya couldn't comprehend what was occurring in 1:36 due to the fact that there are a lot of instruments. Grown-ups call this Ja-, Jass? But Mr. Pianist changed the Jass in his piano variation! Now, Anya can sing along the tune as well! Does this mean Anya has ended up being a full-grown now?" (She indicates Jazz btw).

2:32.
" Anya desires a big firework with surges at the end! Mr. Pianist stated he will do that by playing "dummy rolls" in 2:32. Ooooh, the piano is getting louder now!" * waku * (She implies "drum rolls" btw).

2:46.
" Anya enjoys this!! (✧ ▽ ✧) It sounds like I am in a circus now! Papa, Mother! Anya wishes to go to the circus tomorrow!!".

3:57.
" Anya feels a bit exhausted. The piano sounds like a music box now. Anya wants to go to the bed. Playing … the piano … was enjoyable. Good … night.".
[…]
Looks like Anya has fallen asleep after all. However still, I hope you enjoyed my special version of Kura Kura! I'll simply call it "Anya's Unique variation" for now.

See you once again next time!

Animenz.

  1. My eyes light up every time I see a premiere for a new arrangement. So excited to see what you’ve come up with this time.

  2. OMG!!!
Your first arrangement for an Ado song, I’ve waited for this so long🤩

  3. You know he is a man of culture when he plays Ado and reference Schumann Concerto

    1. I’ve heard this concerto, but I didn’t get the reference. Where is it in the video?

    2. @@lamjiaxu821 yes
But the cadenzas really look like something Russian or made for a piano concerto.

  4. Honestly, I’m badly sick recently. But when I see the notifications of your new video today, I knew you won’t disappoint me.
And you didnt. Thanks for providing me a joyful and jazzy cover of Kura Kura. It means a ton to me, especially during hard times. Your music has that magical power that serves like medicines. I don’t know why. But yea.

    P.s. That looks difficult.

  5. Such pure, unadulterated passion in this performance. I feel like I’m back in 2015, when I first discovered Animenz channel and every new video felt like an event and cause for celebration.
Not sure if it’s just me, but your latest few uploads hit the mark more than usual in terms of quality of playing, attention to detail and creativity. Please take as much time as you need between videos, such gems are worth waiting for 🙂

    1. Found animenz a year prior to you and it makes you realise, its been like 9 years 💀

    2. @@ju5tm398 9 years since unravel, many more since he first started YouTube 🙂

    3. Exactly this arrangement also brings me back, things used to be different back then but I get a glimpse of his more older arrangements in this video. Just overall vibe is really good and I’m happy Animenz could make me feel this way. Nostalgic.

  6. Animenz really went classical mode, jazz mode and swing mode for this one haha! I’m loving the creativity!

  7. This! This is what Animenz whom I had known long before. I always adore your classical touch in your arrangements, and I’m so happy that you’re so close to back with the older style. Thanks for having fun with your piano (I hope you do so).

    1. Are you kidding? His last few years have been absolutely epic. In my opinion, his song selections, his arrangement creativity, his taste, his playing, his output, literally everything has improved ten-fold compared to 6 or 7 years ago.

    2. I agree with OP! Lots of highlights in recent years too of course, but the classical style will always be #1 for me

    3. @@TheDusty1920 I’ll just put it into one sentence: Your musical preferences aren’t mine.

    4. @@alkautsarpurnamaagung1842 That goes without saying. I’m just here to provide my show of support for how Animenz has upped his level these last few years and provide an opposing opinion to you who seem to be wishing for some past version of Animenz. You are free to comment and I am free to respond.

    5. @@boredPianoAdv
@alkautsarpurnamaagung1842 But regardless of which you prefer, I am actually curious what you mean when you say his older “classical” style? How would you classify his more recent style? Would you be willing to give me 2 example: An old piece that illustrates your preferred “classical” style and a newer piece that illustrates your less-preferred Animenz style.

  8. Animenz, dear Animenz:

You have absolutely no idea on how much I wanted this cover. I never expected you to cover more than 2 songs in the span of two months, so my hopes for Kura Kura were dead. This made my day.

The fake outro was majestic, as well as the real one. The bridge left my jaw on the floor, and the second chorus was the ultimate display of beauty. Thank you, Animenz, for doing these covers. Happy Waku Waku to y’all!

  9. Ado is just an unbelievably skilled vocalist. I would love to see you cover more of her songs.

    1. Yeah I can’t believe Animenz hasn’t covered a single song from the One Piece movie. Backlight and New Genesis would both sound amazing on piano.

  10. 概要欄が楽しい!演奏すごい!アーニャもきっと大満足❤

  11. The bouncy energy that you bring into this performance so accurately reflects Anya’s playful nature. This signature attention to musicality and showmanship is something I *always* look forward to in your arrangements!

0:26 and 1:26 these cute ornaments are peak Anya 😂
1:36 such infectious energy, just having fun with it at this point
    2:33 sweet jazzy transition
2:49 the swing section caught me by surprise! a refreshing change-up

and of course, always nice to hear the classical elements brought back, in the intro and at 3:45

  12. As always, Animenz out there ballin’. Those arpeggios hit the Liszt PTSD, but oh man, were they pure fire. The introduction itself is something else with the Schumann Concerto reference, and how it builds upon it, even better. The swing section as well, a refreshing look on the melody nonetheless. Never let this burning passion run out king! You are awesome!

  13. 最高の演奏ありがとうございます!!
    概要欄もめちゃくちゃ良い!!w

  14. Animenz is guilty for my high expectations on piano covers 😅

(I swear, the other day I came across a Spotify playlist of piano covers from famous songs and all of them sounded plain af, and I’m sure it is because I became used to Animenz virtuosity, THANK YOU FOR EXISTING)

  15. So clean! It takes a lot of dedication to choose to arrange such a difficult piece knowing you’ll have to play it later. I can’t get over how accurate your performance was: the quick jump to the bass notes with the left hand and the seamless switching between playing melody with right and left hands!

  16. I love this arrangement. Having this on loop to make it easier for me to learn later, also really hope the next arrangement is the Mushoku Tensei op Spiral from Longman!
