Each mode of the significant scale gives us a different degree of tonal brightness and a great method to straight compare each mode is to take the same tune and play it in each different scale. So today I'm taking the Beatles' timeless "Norwegian Wood" and controling it to sound in Lydian, Major, Mixolydian, Dorian, Aeolian, Phrygian and even the feared Locrian!
