If you stop and return to the start every time something goes wrong, this video will assist. I describe why rebooting is such a devastating routine, and how to practice continuing, recovering, and separating run-through mode from repair work mode.

Why You Restart Every Time You Make a Mistake On The Violin
Your violin lessons are very useful to me. Thankyou
This helped me a lot thank you the thing I struggle with is sight reading. Does that take time? Or does it come with Practice.
yes. I agree with your pro…Yes. I agree with your prt…Yes. I agree with your ouj…Yes. I agree with your premise to not keep restarting. thanks.
This is very helpful. I am so picky about getting things right that I most commonly stop and repeat the problem part over and over, and other times start all over so I can encounter the problem part within the proper flow of the song. However, the tip I’m taking away from your video is to have different practicing modes — one for improving my problem areas and another for practicing the way I would perform the piece — without stopping.
Definitely as a beginner stop, restart. Now as a getting better beginner, push through and ‘etude’ problems separately.
I practice more on the rythem of bowing. So it all sounds bad.
