  1. ‘ello, luv. Having been a professional bass guitarist for 40 years, I was used to hearing what I played be perfect (or pretty close). So when I try to play the violin, it’s as far from perfect as Earth is from Jupiter. (and not Holst’s). It offends my ears. Is there a way for me to play without Me observing it? haha. Bloody great video as always, thanks.

  2. My struggle is that you instruct us to play with the left thumb on the side of the neck, but you instruct us to do vibrato with the thumb underneath the neck. Then you instruct us to use vibrato all of the time while we are trying to learn vibrato. I don’t know which place to put my thumb. Please help. Thanks. Charles C.

  3. I really don’t mind recording myself but when there are people listening in person I quickly forget what I’m supposed to be playing
