Practicing loads but still feeling like you sound painfully beginner-ish? In this video I discuss why that happens, and why the issue is generally not the quantity of practice you're doing, however the way you're doing it.

Why You Still Sound Like a Beginner on Violin
I was getting frustrated that the songs I play doesn’t sound beautifully so I just decided to doing the basics. Bowing, intonation, all of it instead of just playing songs. It’s pretty encouraging to watch this video hearing you say that might be the problem. It’s boring to just do the basics but if it gets me to play more beautifully and not sound like a beginner then I’m all for it! Thanks!
Re-uploaded as i accidentally uploaded the wrong video last week like a buffoon, so this should make more sense now 😊
I enjoyed the other video, as it represented the process you must go through to create an edited and polished final version.
No worries! Thank you for all of your violin and piano teaching! You alone inspired me to acquire and learn to play an electric violin. 💕
