  1. I feel like I need more music coming from the violin instead of flawed technique. I have been thinking of putting better strings on my violin. If my violin is of quality below a student one, will better strings still sound better?
    Thanks,
Also, if someone is a professional violinist, can they make almost any violin sound good?

    1. To a degree – but it depends on the violin itself. You could try some Priastro Tonica strings – and if you find yourself wanting to upgrade the violin, just take the Tonicas off the old one, put the ones you took off back on, then keep the Tonicas for the new one.

  2. Hello, I think I need more of music. Thanks for the video. I am a beginner at playing the violin. When I’m playing something on my violin, maybe a few notes, it sounds rather different from what I expect, like it doesn’t have the soothing violin kind of sound that we hear everywhere. So I’m wondering is it really my playing that is affecting the sound or is it the violin itself? What I mean is if a professional violinist plays on my violin, will it sound how a violin should or still sound different?

  3. Hi Alison, Apologies that I’m asking again on here, but I still can’t find the email address. I have the Ultimate Violin Package, and there’s a sheet about email contact but the address isn’t on it. When I go to your website it says that the email address is only visible if I’m a silver member, which I’m not. Is there any way around finding an email address so I can ask my allocated number of questions each month? I have questions that are holding me back – thanks so much xx

  4. Hi! I am new to the channel with strong determination to learn violin systematically, and intrigued by your tutorials. I would like to confirm that, is there more complete videos of lesson 11-30 if I purchase the books? If I understand correctly, for lesson 1-10, there are already full lessons of videos on the channel but not for 11-30, you have to purchase to gain the access?

Pls help! I would really like to learn well. Thank you!

    1. Hi, so all the videos that accompany the books are available in full on youtube except for the videos in book 3 (Lessons 21-30) as those are more complicated.
The videos accompany the books – not the other way around, so you need the books in order to learn as they contain all the information and music etc.
You can watch the videos and see what you think, before you buy.
Lessons 1-10 are online only – no books, just the pdfs you download and its all for free to get you off and going. From there, youll then purchase the books and the links to the videos (if you want to watch them) are linked in the books. The videos contain the demos.
Hope that all makes sense, but please do let me know if you need any further clarification or any further questions. Always happy to help and answer 🙂
