@iTeerRex in general I think the pieces Peter Buka plays are usually from other composers but he puts his spin or rendition of it out there. Lot of pianists do improvisations or their spin of someone else’s music and then publish it on iTunes and elsewhere. Peter Buka is like that as is few others I follow.
Like I was saying above though…. Even doing a rendition of someone else’s song has a way of making it your own by putting your own spin or flare onto that music in your style of playing. And that’s what is incredible about Peter. He tends to really feel with it and it shows in his breathtaking way of playing

This was one of the first pieces i had learned on piano and it was for my granddad who isn’t among us anymore. I didn’t think it could get any better but you made it possible. Thank you so very much for this wonderful and amazing masterpiece. I am literally crying rn that’s how beautiful this is. Keep up you have amazing talent and your passion for music really shows 💜

It takes an exceptional talent, a truly rare individual, to improve on one of Hans Zimmer’s epic musical scores. Peter Buka is just the sort of gifted individual that does just that. A theme that reverberates throughout Interstellar is the power of love to transcend the most insurmountable obstacles – including time itself. I would argue that masterfully played music, as exemplified in Mr Buka’s rendition of the Interstellar theme, is equally as transcendent.

They are all so amazing! But I can feel what you mean with intense!! I played his time and on my way on my channel and am deeply inspired by his fantastic work!! But I only started as adult self taught so it’s very hard but I don’t give up!! Next ill play my alone pt 2 version it’s one of my favorite videos by Peter Buka.
