Over the years, my great pal Carl Sandquist has come up with some terrific tunes (e.g. Morning Light) which he has asked me to help become songs. He came up with the main tune to this tune a few years ago and we always hoped we 'd find a possibility to develop it further. That chance came at the death of Carl and Emily's valuable 2 week-old child, Thomas. We felt that this tune was for him. The special benefit of being able to prepare and play this tune for baby Thomas' funeral service is a tender experience I will never forget. This song is dedicated to those of you who have actually lost a youngster.

I lost my 7 yr old son in 1993. 31 yrs has passed and I am at peace knowing that very soon he will awaken in the Paradise earth that Jehovah God and Jesus Christ has promised. Carl and Emily, I’m so sorry about the passing of your sweet little Thomas. His life had a purpose and was meaningful and important. I know this pain and I know how much you love Thomas. Our Koah would be 8 months old, he was stillborn on his due date. I take so much comfort knowing I will be with him again one day but until then I will miss him every day of my life on this earth. I know you must feel the same about Thomas. He is loved🩵
