I love the irony of turning a song about how no one will sleep into a lullaby 😂
The song is about a man who will do anything for a woman.
@Anthony Loconteactually the context for the song is that the princess has to marry the prince Calaf, whose name she doesnt know, because he answered 3 questions correctly. And the prince agrees that if she figures out his name he will happily die, but if she cant they have to get married. The princess declares that no one will sleep until she learns the name of the prince. In fact, she cries out that everyone in the kingdom will be killed if no one steps forward to reveal Calaf’s identity. Meanwhile, Calaf confidently sings “Nessun Dorma”—”Nobody shall sleep.”
