I just bought this course because it seemed an absolute bargain!.. & it doesn’t look like I’m going to be disappointed. So far I’ve just decided to sit back and watch the entire course all the way through before sitting down to put it into practice, and I’m up to book 7: ADVANCED BLUES. Robin’s friendly and relaxing Irish accent really puts you at ease and makes you want to learn, and I can’t wait to tuck in 2morrow!! A BUMPER course for less than the price of a single one2one piano lesson!! 🙂
This is a fantastic piano course! I love it.
excellent course! I have that course now and soon be able to play piano well¬
@taitejordan Hi – it’s just a rhythm that can be used for lots of songs such as Lets Twist Again – Only The Lonely – Stand By Me – etc
Hope that helps.
Satie’s song, what is that???! It’s beautiful :O I want the name please, I wanna try to play it; I’ve got the first notes you did…
@randomutubejunk
This is a simplified version of Gymnopédie No.1by Erik Satie. There are some very beautiful pieces of classical music in the course that sound great even when they are simplified for beginners. Hope that helps
@thepian0man Cool, thanks! I got around to playing it last night, and I’m actually (fairly) good at it 😀
Your key is a bit lower than the other versions I’ve heard of it though… mind if I ask what scale/range/key/note you’re playing in?
daym..the calmness of the hand, the ease of the movements..I wanna be able to play like that!!!!
Great video! I have a question, what’s the name of the song of Chopin? I really love that song, Thanks
@johndjong It is called Waltz in A minor. It was published after Chopin’s death, and therefore carries no opus number (It is not to be confused with the Waltz in A Minor, Op. 34, No. 2) This again is a simplified left hand to show that it can be easy for beginners to play some beautiful pieces of music.
Hey, all. I actually bought this course a few years ago and I can truthfully say that he doesn’t exaggerate– this is a VERY good course, and even intermediates can learn something.

Hi Jim. It’s just a simplified version of the first few bars of Bill Withers ‘Lean on me’. Hope you give the course a try 🙂
Oh my gosh it is so useful! Thanks!
I truly would love to play soulful and balanced music as such. It is very difficult for me but looking at this tutorials and sitting here I’ll get it.
This is a great course. And the price is insanely low. As a guitar player, I highly recommend it. The best way to learn how to play piano quickly–by far.
I don’t remember writing this post! I too am a guitarist who wanted to learn piano and the price of this course is also incredibly reasonable. God bless Robin Hall!
