Why Adult Learners Can Struggle With Rhythm (And How to Fix It)

I know you are so right. Whenever I start analyzing my fingering, trying to work something out and get frustrated because itās not coming together, I turn away from watching my fingers and look at the music. Then I automatically start LISTENING to it more and my playing instantly improves. Thatās key: not getting so bogged down in the technicalities that youāre no longer enjoying and listening to the music!
