Peter Buka’s ability to take a pop song and elevate it to a new level of sophistication through his virtuosity is a miracle in and of itself.
Peter, I have followed you on YouTube for a couple years now. I am a 69 year old man who simply loves music. Music of all kinds. What makes music so great is the person who takes that music and creates a masterpiece. I have listened to musicians from all around the world and I have picked out a few that I like. But what you do to a piece is absolutely astonishing. There is a company called BASF. They take a product and make it better. You are the BASF of music on that piano. You take a song like Interstellar, Carol of the Bells, Beethoven’s Moonlight sonata 3rd movement , Time and this one you’re playing today and just make it into a diamond from a lump of coal. I think that I have witnessed the best piano player I’ve ever heard. And I’ve watched a ton of them. You probably heard of Gamazda, and she has a unique style but no one comes close to your style. I enjoy how you take a song and make it your rendition which I think is better than the originals. Music is the universal language of mankind and I hope you continue to amaze people with your incredible talent. Now, I’m speechless because there is nothing more to add except you are an amazing young man. Play on Peter.
