For those who want know Michelle’s backstory (from the official wiki page) basically Michelle was playing hide and seek with her friends in the Mall. Michelle enters an abandoned staff-only room to hide from her friends, but does not notice Robby in the room, seemingly deactivated, among many other stuff like old items, paint buckets & more. Michelle spots Robby, gets scared and attempts to leave the room. Unfortunately, it turns out the door was stuck from the inside, due to it being abandoned. On an attempt to open the door once again, she falls on the floor and lands on a shelf flat on her back, dropping a paint bucket over Robby. She notices she dropped paint on Robby, but she doesn’t think much about it – after all, she thinks he doesn’t work and that he’s just a prop. Michelle continues to try and open the door, but as she does, Robby slowly activates – his red eyes begin to gleam/scan over the room. The paint being thrown on Robby led to him being activated. He spots Michelle and activates intruder mode: he sees Michelle as a threat, and begins to slowly approach Michelle. Michelle, still trying to open the door, hears metallic footsteps coming towards her. She looks back, screams, and Robby saws her

I think Michelle is one of those people who are opposed with ghosts, possession, demons ect. I think it because instead of her helping gorge to befeat robby (which would mean she gets her revenge) she instead choose to be a horror movie antagonist :/

Imagine you are in an abandoned and haunted shopping center where people have disappeared, you get into a ventilation duct and find a corpse with insects inside that starts chasing you to kill you with this music in the background.
