  1. This is such a coincidence! Because I was just saying I’m getting frustrated, I feel like I wasn’t improving. This is helpful, thank you!

  2. Yes. Not the violin itself, but frustrated with vibrato. I am on Suzuki book 8 and cannot learn vibrato and I have a private teacher.

  3. I see my progress and I can pretty much find the note but I’m still squeaky. Looking forward to the day when I conquer that!

  4. Again, thanks a lot for this video!
I also have this moments sometimes. Something is also that progress (seems) to not come as far as i want it too. Than i habe to get two steps back, practicing scales consciously and consistently (most of the time i don’t because they are „boring“ but they absolutely helps!!)
And my advice: i have learned absolut Everything from your course, from reading notes to now although my boyfriend is a studied Piano player. I played all the time by myself whit you’re backing tracks or other videos on YouTube and it was good. But when he accompanied me, i was soooo off. So when anyone have the chance to play sometimes whit other musicians, DO IT! Make music together is such a different dynamic than play whit a recorded backing track 🙂

  5. I keep playing the same 3 songs over and over mainly trying to improve the sound of my playing and I am starting to feel a little stuck.

  6. I Love listening to you! I been taking lessons for 6 months and feel like I’m getting no where. Its hard to get motivated to practice sometime. I guess you gotta just stick with it. Thanks 😁

  7. Yes! Im not any great shakes dexterity wise in my left hand. I played guitar, was told in person that I have a slow hand. Once my violin teacher said same thing to my mother. Once by a friend who played beautiful drums said I had A SLOW HAND! so im given to think that is so, however that never stopped me nor will it! Because I’m a stubborn Dane!. I love your channel and your approach to violin, thank you Allison! I go through inspiration and my latest fad then I get discouraged again. That’s my pattern. Last night they said to tune the violin during a thunder storm! So I think i will try it and see what happens. Thank you Allison. I think my strings need changing that should help. Bye for now.❤
